Description
We are looking for a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to own and scale the infrastructure powering OSINT Industries. Our platform processes thousands of real-time intelligence lookups daily — you will ensure this happens reliably, securely, and cost-efficiently across a distributed cloud environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years operating production cloud infrastructure at scale (GCP preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Pulumi, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) or ECS/Fargate.
- Solid Linux system administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/automation language: Python, Bash, or Go.
- Understanding of security best practices, zero-trust, least privilege
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP (IaC with Pulumi, or Terraform).
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe deployment of microservices.
- Monitor platform health using observability stacks (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and define SLIs/SLOs.
- Harden infrastructure security: manage IAM policies, secrets management, network segmentation, and compliance requirements.
- Optimize cloud spend and capacity planning for bursty, scraping-heavy workloads (proxy fleet management, job queues).
- Automate incident response runbooks and participate in on-call rotations.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
- Background in privacy-focused infrastructure (data residency, encryption at rest/in transit, SOC 2).
