OSINT Industries platform is utilised by investigators working on a massive range of subjects, some are working on serious organised crime such as investigating war crimes, human trafficking and more. For that reason OSINT Industries has very developed information security and data protection policies. Users of the platform may note some features missing, such as a search history, which is intentional. OSINT Industries does not store any of the searches made on the platform or through the API, nor does it store any of the search results returned.

OSINT Industries platform is an OSINT automation tool. What that means is that none of the data returned when you query a selector is closed source. You can gather the exact same data outside the platform, it would just take you a longer time. All of the information returned is consensually shared by users with the internet, and our terms and conditions require that an investigator has permission to gather information on a selector before searching.

Users can easily remove OSINT information about them by going to the data source. For example if you search an email and it returns that you have a Google account, you can control the amount of information you share with the public through your account by changing your privacy settings on Google.

OSINT Industries is a live realtime OSINT tool, and so all of the data is fetched in realtime when a selector is searched. Because of this the data is accurate to the sources at the point of searching. The data returned is limited in real-life accuracy however as people can register accounts with other peoples names on platforms that do not require account verification. This is rare, but worth knowing.

To cancel your subscription, go to the 'Billing' section in your account settings. Click on the 'Cancel Subscription' button and follow the instructions to confirm the cancellation.
